I am having my wedding on July 25, 2011 on the Carnival Miracle Cruise Ship in the Port of New York. Is there anyone that is doing or that has done this? Just looking for someone to bounce ideas off of as they come up =-)

I'm so jealous! My FH and I did two cruises on the Miracle out of NY and LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!

congratulations!!
We thought about doing this sort of a destination wedding but since we'd be getting married here in NY; we couldn't see cutting the list down when everyone was so close by. If we picked a cruise leaving from a different state maybe that would have worked better.

I am not doing that but I am going to be on the cruise right before yours!! The Miracle on the 17th!
The last time I went on a cruise another couple got married on it as well. They had the ceremony before the ship sailed as it overlooked the NYC skyline. They had it on the front of the ship outside.
On captains night...the bride wore her dress again. It was pretty funny.
