Re: CARRRRRRRRRRRRSSS

I have a MetroCARd.

Neel has a '72 Dodge Dart and an '06 Subaru Impreza.

I'm assuming only the Subaru would interest you since you're not TPT like us

I can ask him the details if you want! eta: the Subaru is paid off by now, though.

2010 Accord w leather - leased

$244 a month for payment (includes taxes and all the bs) - prior to trade in, about 300
$138 for insurance (just went under my own name from my parents, 2 accidents a few years ago)

Also check out the altima! that was my runner up and it was actually much cheaper for me a month but I just like honda better and I am so used to the way they drive and handle!

Re: CARRRRRRRRRRRRSSS

OOPS im sorry!!!

my calculation isn't accurate.......I traded in my old honda and they applied the amt of what they gave me towards the deposit, taxes, etc, and deducted what was remaining from my monthly payment. Prior to the trade in, I think they were quoting me $289? 300? something around there.......it was high 2 low 3.......it got bumped down to 240 because of my trade in

I have a 2005 Honda Civic I got it in 2007 it was a certified used car. I got it for $11,500.00 with 11,435 miles on it. I am paying $261 a month for 5 years. I highly recommend Paragon Honda on Northern Blvd. They totally worked with me.

ETA- my insurance is high because of my accident.

edited because I got it in 2007 not 2008

I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla... I paid about $19k for it new in 2005..that included an extended warranty, anti lock brakes, and side airbags which weren't standard on the Corolla in 2005. At the time I did TONS of research on almost every car and I really think that Toyota gives you the best value for your money (despite the teeny tiny brake issues they recently had)..

2008 Honda Civic, LX. Love it! Got it for $17K or so at Kings Plaza Auto Mall (Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn). I got the best price from them - my parents did help out so it was not leased or financed.
Insurance was around $2000/year when I lived in Queens and did have some tickets.

Since I moved to Nassau, now I pay around $ 630 every 6 months ($1200/yr).

Before that, I drove a 2005 Toyota Corolla, financed at 3.5% which came to around $335/month. Insurance on top of that as well.

Best all around cars are Hondas and Toyota's in terms of longevity. I just saw some ads that advertised Honda leases for only $199/month.
