Has anyone tried on Casablanca dresses? I've seen them in magazines ...and thought they were very pretty. I then looked online and saw they were very affordable. Does anyone know what the quality is like? I don't want to get my hopes up because I love the style...and then touch the dress and find that it is made poorly. Thanks~

Re: casablanca
i have, I think the dress I'm ordering is casablanca (I know it is, just not sure i'm ordering it). Lillette's and RK Bridal have tons of them. I didn't notice a problem with the quality at all, and they range in price. check their website - I really like the style in general.

Re: casablanca
I tried on a ton at RK Bridal. As a matter of fact, before I found the dress I actually bought, I was going to buy a Casablanca that I loved, but then I just put on my dress that I got and knew that was it. But, Casablanca's are very well made, my mom and grandma are sewers and they can tell crap when they see it and they like all the ones I had on. They're very affordable and according the people at RK, they're a very easy company to work with. Hope that helps!

Re: casablanca
My gown was a Casablanca. When I first tried it on I was worried it was going to be $$$$ because it was much better made than others I had tried on. I was shocked by how affordable it was. Lots of pics in my albums/review...but here is one.

Re: casablanca
My dress is a Casablanca and I absolutely love it. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the and the prices are very reasonable. Mine was just over 1K, but they have alot of styles and the prices vary.

Re: casablanca
I kept trying on Anjiolique and Casablanca dresses without even looking for either label. I bought mine at Lillettes, and the Casablanca dresses ranged from 700 to 2000.00+ There is A LOT to choose from in between! I am very excited about my dress!! the quality is and work (mine has beading) are both very good quality.

Re: casablanca
I ordered a casablanca gown... When I first tried it on in the place I thought it was going to be sooo much money compared to other ones I tried on because it was made soo well and very good quality but when the woman told me the price I was shocked it was soo affordable.

Re: casablanca
i ordered a casablanca as well... tried on a few dresses by them prior to ordering and never once questioned the quality. very relieved about the price range too. Didn't think I would find anything nice for $1K or less.

Re: casablanca
Here's mine.
I am really happy with the quality (keep in mind, you only wear it once!)
Actually I have tried a couple dresses by Casablanca. The quality is nice and def not cheap. Try Lidia in Copiague they carry the line of dresses and their prices are pretty good. Plus they are really sweet , helpful and of course patient
I tried on a Casablanca that I absolutely loved!! The only reason I didn't get it is because my mom and aunt said, 'Eh' when I showed it to them! It seemed to be great quality!!

Re: casablanca
I just really love this Jim Hjelm gown...but its 2700. I have it in my budget...but still hate to spend that much on a dress I will wear once. I feel like the dress posted above is the same style...but will be a material of less quality. Something ppl wont even notice.
I ordered a casablanca all lace and ITS AMAZING. I have loved this dress for like two years and thought it would never look good on me but it did! I got the dress and a custom balero jacket all for under 1k - but you need to price shop.
The cheapest prices were Lidia's I have found for casablanca and maggies.
