love your dress by way. everytime fiance sees that sidewrap (i dunno how you call it) in mags he's always like, i like that, is yours like that. im like 'NO!' but now im like aw, mine doesnt have a side wrap thing, hahah. what if he's like, 'pssshhh, i thought you'd have the sidewrap thing?!' hahahahh

Thank you I stumbled upon it by accident, I was originally going to order 1859 b/c I just knew it was the one. On my way to order and get measured I saw this one and got THAT feeling when I tried it on.

The 1859 is very pretty but definitely the 1886 has that band around the hips which gives it a more unique look..very beautiful dress!! I love that feeling i got that feeling as soon as i tried mine on but i wanted to try a few more so later on i couldnt say why didnt i try anymore on.

I need that band around the hips, its very slimming I never got that feeling that everyone talks about when I tried on the first one, so I didnt think it was possible. Then I tried on the second one and my mom started to tear up, which is sooo not like her.

i got that feeling because i liked another dress that looked like it and i brought the picture to the salon they didnt have that one but showed me this one that was really similar so since i love the whole style and when i tried it on i looked super slim i was in love lol..aww thats so sweet your mom teared up. My mom just said oh its very beautiful on your but no tears i wanted her to tear up lol

lmfaoooo@Ruffles thats a cute name for your dress. I too loved all the Casablanca stuff no offense to anyone but i didnt like any of the Maggie Sottero dress or the Alfred Angelo to me Casablanca dresses all looked different and beautiful in their own way.

i think my top three choices were all casablanca. it just so happened the girl thought they would be what fit my description best. i went in with no idea of what i wanted. i just said i like lace a lot and empire waists and she picked great ones.

i've changed the top a bit but not much at all
