Cash Deposits?

hey guys! Happy New Year and hooray for 2008 already!!!

As an out of town bride I plan on taking a long weekend (thurs -sun) to meet with as many vendors as possible for florals, photog, & DJ.

For those of you who have booked these folks already, did your vendors require cash on the spot? Take a credit card or personal check?

The money I have for the wedding is in an account we don't plan on pulling out until May but it would be good to pay for some things without dipping into that yet but I am just trying to figure out how much exactly I will need.

So far everything that we have done that required a deposit took Cash or Credit CArd!

That is great to know. I know the RH needed a $5k cashiers check-obviously the most $$$ vendor and the most important to have secured. But it really frightened me that I would need to have another $5-7k in cash ready for the rest of the vendors.
