Along with two declines we received 2 checks. What is appropriate when it comes to cashing these? Do we wait till the wedding? or cash now?
do you send a thank you now AND a thank you after the wedding?

We received a check yesterday with a decline. I had thank you cards made for after we got engaged with our names on them. I used one of those and wrote a thank you and am mailing it out today.
It was one of my mom's co workers so I told her to just remind me when I send out the wedding thank yous, to send her co worker one as well! Also, I'm cashing the check today. To wait until after the wedding would drive me crazy if I was the one sending the check. I figure they need to continue balancing their checkbook so why not help them out by cashing it already! JMO HTH

if they aren't coming to the wedding, then i feel like you can send a TY card now saying that they will be missed at the wedding.

I would def. cash now and just send a thank you along with the rest after the wedding. I hate it when I give people a check and they take forever to cash it.
