Catering Halls???

Okay, I absolutely love the Thatched Cottage, but I feel I want to see some more catering halls before we book there. Can anyone recommend catering halls that is a one wedding affair with that same feel as the Thatched Cottage (something by water or with a nice garden landscape)

I love the Thatched too. FH wants to see if we can get the price down a little and I'm scared we might loose it then. So I wanted to find another option (or else a back up date _LOL)

Your FH is right you should def. try to get the price down. I know where I am getting married I got $5 taken off and some extras.

If you need any help with negotiating FM me.

I can't remember, we went there in October, I think it was $89 or something like that for a Friday night. What did you get it for, your weddings a Saturday night?

I would definitely check out Giorgio's. It has the water, golf course and pretty garden area. I'm biased because I booked there, but it is really pretty.

I would suggest

Giorgios - you can't see the water from the room, but they have a private beach that you can use for pictures right down the road and they have BEAUTIFUL grounds.

Lombardis On The Sound - really pretty room and ocean views all around. They have a tremedous amount of food..and they work with your with packages.

I have a few questions about Thatched Cottage though - Do you have any pics of the ballroom? I feel like the ones on their website don't do it any justice because you can hardly see it. And the water view , its a lake right, not the ocean?? I would love to see more pictures because I was thinking of checking it out ...

We are using Majestic Gardens. Its not really a big vendor on here but i fell in loooove with the garden and there is a BEAUTIFUL beach 7 mins away. So inbetween the church and RH we r going to the beach and taking pictures. So i'll have beach and garden pictures.
