Catering halls for less than 100 people

We have compiled a tentative guest list, and counting everyone, we have roughly 75 people (with half of that number teens and kids!). From these boards, I've learned that some places make you 'guarantee' a minimum number of guests. Do any of you know any place that allows you to have only 75 people and that is only one wedding at a time? Nassau or Suffolk counties, please. Thanks!

I know that the Country Gardens at East Wind in Wading River is for smaller weddings...I am not sure how many people you have to guarantee but the grounds are beautiful and the food is awesome!!!

Re: Catering halls for less than 100 people

Are you okay with having your wedding on a non-Saturday evening timeframe? If so, many places will be much more willing to work with you with that minimum, especially the 1 wedding at a time places like The Crescent. Are children under 12 included in your count? Lots of places only charge 1/2 price for kids, but don't include them in your minimun.

Don't worry, you'll find a beautiful place that you'll love!

The Watermill has a room for smaller receptions.

Try the Milleridge Carriage House. We thought that we were going to have 65 people, of course, we are up to 100 now... that's another story. But, yes, the Carriage House could accommodate that number.

That is where I had my reception. Our guarantee for a Saturday in OCtober was 75. We had 85, it fit perfectly.

Here is my review

and

The inn at eastwing can accomodate parties as low as 75 people. The crestwood in northport, and Leonard's.

Re: Catering halls for less than 100 people

Good call on the Crestwood in Northport. Also, would you consider a place like the Old Field Club? I'm not sure of their minimum, but I think their max is relatively low.

Re: Catering halls for less than 100 people

202 East in the city also has a limited capacity -and can do catered events. I told my FH that when we have kids we are definatley having a birthday party -or even a baby shower there because it is beautiful.

Re: Catering halls for less than 100 people

You can try Louis XVI (they told us 80 minimum for a Saturday in June but I think they are flexible) if you want one event at a time. Many of the halls that do more than one event at a time have smaller rooms (Westbury Manor, Chateau Briand, Huntington Town House, Irish Coffee Pub, maybe Larkfield Manor).

East Wind min is 120 people for a Saturday night(May). The Watermill holds more than one reception at a time.

We had 70 people at the George Washington Manor (Presidential Room). It was the perfect size and we were thrilled with everything. That might work well for you.
