Hi; Did you check ebay? I got mine on ebay for 25 dollars and it is perfect!!! Try it----it is worth it Good luck
By the way mine has rhinestones, it two tier detachable (catedral and blusher). They are both 72 inches wide. The cathedral veil is 120 inches long and the blusher is 36 inches long. My dress is not a ball gown shape, so it is perfect

It's OK you would learn a lot about them as you start shooping for them A cathedral veil is a long veil. It could be different lenghts and widths, but essentially they are long. Mine is 72 inches by 120 inches long Some cathedral veils have different tiers and some are just the veil. Cathedral veils usually have different edges, like.....satin ribbon edges, Rattail edges, Pencil Edge, Cut Edge, etc. Some have rhinestones and some don't. Mine has rhinestones and is of ivory color. Mine is a two tier veil. The mantilla veil has lace edging.
I have included some photos. The first one is of my veil. It is not the best photo, but you get to see the two tier and the edging (satin pencil edge), however....you won't are not able to appreciate the rhinestones in this one...sorry!!!

(which i'm in love with now ) i was looking online yesterday and realize i really like the birdcage veil, too...it's like 50s style net (very small, only covers upto your nose and can come with like feathers on the side...maybe too fancy for me

Thanks bailacali!!! My veil is a two tier cathedral veil with pencil edge and rhinestones all over You can't really appreciate the rhinestones in the photo.
I love the birdcage veil!!!! it just did not 'go' with my dress. Once I put on the cathedral veil on at the bridal salon I knew it was for me I just refused to pay over $200 for it.
