Cathedral Veil Girls

Did you girls bring your cathedral veils with you when you got your hair trial? I want to see how it will look together, but at the same time I don't want to ruin my veil. Plus I want to keep it at the salon as long as possible so I don't wrinkle it. What did you girls do??

I brought mine but I also have a steamer so I am not worried about it wrinkling

my hair trial will be at my parents house and my veil is already there but if not i prob wouldnt have but who knows

I think i'm going to bring it with me -- will the salon take the veil back and hold it for you until closer to the wedding when you pick up your dress?

Or is it a one time deal -- take it from the store and now it's your problem type thing?

Yea, I need to call and ask them that. If they'll take it back I'm totally going to bring it with me to my hair trial. Although I don't want my veil to drag on the floor of the salon. I'm such a PITA!

I didn't - i just brought the blusher part so I could get some idea of what it would look like together.

The cathedral part of mine velcros onto the blusher part so I'll do the same thing day of - leave the cathedral part at home.

I don't want to get it dirty.

i havent done my hair trial yet but i was planing on borrowing my sisters fingertip viel for the trial (its a lot easier to travel with and she wont care if its gets a little wrinkled)

No, I just used the veil they had there. I think I got the idea of how it will look pretty well. Both of my trials had sample veils, as well as hair pins/combs and all that.
