What happens with it once it is not over my face anymore. It just gets taken off when my dad kisses me? Won't that look weird, him walking away to his seat with a ton of veil?

If you plan to wear the veil over your face and you want a cathedral length veil, you will need to have a blusher (a veil of a shorter length - anywhere from chin to fingertip) that will be worn over your face. If you want your face uncovered after your father kisses you, he would just lift it up and arrange it over your head - the combs will keep it in place.

I'm talking the type where the veil is over the whole head. Someone has a pic of it that was just posted,..... let me try to find it!
i think the same situation still applies...the dad just lifts it over her head and lets it hang down her back..its all connected to the comb that holds the veil on her head

That veil is called a drop veil. It looks as if it is just dropped on top of her head, but really it is affixed with either a small comb or hat pin. When the blusher is lifted it just folds back like a regular veil, but it doesnt have the poof.

They DO have blushers that just lay on the head and then your dad can remove it. My sister had that. I would not suggest it. It looked very awkward.

If you look in my album under my dress on the very bottom there are a bunch of pics of me trying it on. There arent many good ones of it floded back but it looks like any other veil from the back without the puff on the topp where the comb would be.
