Do all the members of your BP stand on the altar with you? or do they stand in the first pew?
Does it depend on the church? I had this argument with my mom last week....

My sister had us stand with her, I believe it's whatever you want. If it's a ceremony I would have them stand but for a Mass you should let them sit, and hour is a long time dressed up and in heels.

I think it depends on the church.
In my church, the BMs and GMs sit in the first row on either side and then the MOH and BM sit on the altar with you.

Lisa, St. A's has it so that your MOH will stand/sit with you at the altar, and the rest of your bridal party will be in the first pew.

This is what I have seen mostly as well but it depends on the church....but if you WANT your bp to come up with you when you say your vows I'm sure your church can figure out how to do it.

I have only been in weddings where the BP stays in the pew. Its only the MOH and BM on the alter

I have been a bm in a few weddings, 2 in a church and i stood for one, and sat in the first pew for the other...lol sorry im no help!
