Are you having 2 or 3 readers? I am confused about the responsorial pslam. Is that the third reading or is that done by the singer?

we are actually having 4..... old test, new test, prayer of the faithful, and we are having the responsorial psalm read.
we hired a string quartet (our church the musicians you hire separately) and we didn't want to hire a cantor for ONE PSALM, so we asked them if we could have someone read it and they said that was fine.

yes ..we have 2 plus the prayer of the faithful..but the priest is saying that one hth

I'm having 3 readers (new testament, old testament and the prayer of the faithful) the church cantor will do our responsorial psalm because in our church it is usually sung.
