ok so we are getting married in church and I don't know anything about our ceremony. I just wanted to know how many reading do we have to pick ourselves? are there any that are less religious than others? any help would be appreciated.

You have the option of doing a full mass which includes communion and the ceremony whicc includes athe readings but no ceremony my church told me that being that FH is not catholic we have to do the ceremony....as for the readings they guide as a matter of fact I think they provide you with a list of appropriate readinngs and you pick
i did pre cana already and Im not having a mass. I was just looking for someone who might know a lot about specific readings!!!
Did you get a copy of Together for Life? It has all of the different readings that are good for weddings in it.

the specific readings you need are in the book 'Together for Life' that you should have received at Pre-Cana or when you booked your date. All the readings are there and you choose 2 readings (one from the old testament, one from new) one psalm ( can be sung or read) and one gospel (priest or deacon only can read gospel.
