Catholic Church girls

Could you explain what is different between doing a ceremony and a full mass? What elements are different? What is the time difference?

TIA!

Thanks!

So I'm guessing the time difference wouldn't really be that much?

Yupp.

We were also told that we could do one reading instead of two, but we opted for two anyway.

ETA: Communion is an ordeal. It's about 15 minutes I'd say.

yeah 10-15 minutes... and that depends on how many of your guests get up to get communion also...

Most weddings I've been to the ceremony is about 25minutes....a mass is about 1 hour.

Yup, this. We had two readings and the prayer of the faithful. But communion can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes, depending on how many people go up to receive communion.
