What songs did you use for the unity candle, recessional and psalm?

The music coordinator gave me a CD and list of songs that she can sing. There should also be suggestions in the Pre Cana booklet if you received one.

We chose a lot of traditional songs like Canon, Wedding March, etc...

We also chose a really pretty song, 'In the Shadow of your Love/Wings' I forget the actual title for a Psalm.

Definitely ask the music coordinator at your church

we are using the 'Traiditonal Wedding March' for the recessional and the church is doing the music for pslam, we don't have to pick anything out for that.
they told usnot to worryabout music for the unity candle either because they had some music they generally play and when i heard it i thought it sounded fine.
you should check with the music director to get a better idea

Processional: Canon in D (whole BP)
Unity Candle: Nuptial Blessing
Presentation of Gifts: Bridal Prayer
Eucharist: Panis Angelicus
Recessional: Trumpet Voluntary

They told us that they don't generally play a song for the unity candle b/c it is such a quick event. They said they will play some filler music on the organ.
