Catholic Church - Witness to sign the marriage license
Okay so my bridesmaid asked a very good question...does she have to provide any documentation to the church prior to the wedding in order for her to sign the marriage license as a witness on the day of? I know, I know...call the church but just wondering if anyone knew the answer first.

Nothing was required from our MOH and BM when they signed for us.

No. At least no one said they do and its not in my church to do book. If they look really young they might have to prove that they are 18 but nothing else that I know of.

Nothing is required by my Church and we're signing at the rehearsal the night before, not at the ceremony.

Nothing was required when I signed for my friend or aunt.

Perfect! Makes it a lot easier for them not to have to bring any additional paperwork. Thanks for the quick responses!!!!
