Just the ceremony because FH isn't Catholic & I wouldn't want the full mass anyway.

Full mass... I think why have it in the church if you are not having a full mass.. thats just my opinion.

Just a ceremony. I didn't want to torture everyone lol. Although a mass would have been nice.

Re: Catholic Girls
Umm the plan is a mass
We were reprimanded by the priest who said, 'start coming to church on Sundays and we will talk about changing this from a ceremony to a mass.'
This is going to be FH's job to fix!

Re: Catholic Girls
Just a ceremony. We're not too religious and FH just wouldn't have it. It took me forever to get him to have ceremony in a church. And plus, our ceremony is at 5 and CH at 7 so we don't really have the time anyway.
Oh well. We gotta beat the Friday night traffic too! Ahhh

We are having a full mass. FH and I go to church together every Sunday and it was important to us.

Re: Catholic Girls
We're just doing a ceremony. I didn't really want to get married in church at all, I was raised Catholic but I really don't practice now...but FH is very Catholic and he was also a eucharistic minister until very recently, it's very important to him and his family, so I didn't fight about that... but I was surprised and very pleased when FH and his parents all said they'd rather we had a ceremony, so WOO HOO for me!
