FH and I are meeting with our priest tomorrow to complete our pre-marital questionnaire. We supposedly separate and complete it. Does anyone know what I should expect? We already did pre-cana so this is in addition to that.

Re: Catholic Girls- Pre-marital questionnaire??
Is it FOCCUS? If so, you answer a series of multiple choice questions. The answer choices are agree, disagree, or unsure. The questions cover a range or topics, including finances, children, family, etc.

I have to do this, too, but I don't think it's the same as FOCCUS. I haven't done it yet, I'm still waiting on FH's baptismal certificate so I'll have ALL the paperwork when I go. I wish I had more infor, but let me know how it goes!!

I'm surprised that you already did pre-cana and now have to complete the questionnaire. usually its reversed so maybe its a church-specific questionnaire.
we took FOCCUS a few weeks ago. its pretty easy, albeit 156 questions. (if you live together, were previously married, or if its interfaith, you have a few additional questions to answer.) it covers a whole slew of topics to make sure that you and your fiance have talked/discussed all issues that might potentially cause problems in the future. you can fail the whole thing and still get married...it just forces you to discuss it beforehand so the church knows it did due-diligence

Yes, they do seperate you and ask you a series of questions, its not foccus. They ask you questions, such as do you want kids, are you forced into getting married and are you and your FH related are your pregnant. The priest ask the questions verbally and you answer. Nothing to worry about, some questions are pretty funny and obsurd! Good luck.

Re: Catholic Girls- Pre-marital questionnaire??
no big deal on the q's -- as PP poster said, it's mostly about procreation and stuff. However, I was asked if I ever went to therapy, which I thought was odd. Apparently, at some parishes, you have to get a waiver from a mental health counselor to say you're fit for marriage if you've been going for a while. This is just what the priest told me -- I was surprised by that.
