I am still debating on my lenten sacrafice. I usually give up meat (never in my life do I Jonesfor a burger more!), but I am thinking bread this year. it'll be tough, but I think I can do it.

Potato Chips
those little hostess cakes.. yeah I go cookoo for Yodels.

Cookies are allowed because I discovered the Nabisco 100 calorie packs.

ALL fast food and bread.

Last year I gave up soda, the year before fast food. I think I meessed up once!!

One of my BM told me I had to do Choclate!!! I don't think I can do it!!!! Not my chocolate!!!! Bread sounds like a great idea ladies!!!!! I think I'll do that one too!

my vice is my King Size Symphony Chocolate bar every other day at work... will save $4/week and probably 3,000 calories a week giving it up LOL oy!

I rarley do this- I am such a bad catholic

but I am going to give up candy- and yes I am using G-d to stop myself from a very bad habit

but I'm sure he appericates the gesture!

I'm using G*D and the fact that my gown is still a hair to tight to give up my Amstel Light.

It's going to be a long 40 days. But hey, if josh hartnett can go without sex I can go without beer

Hmm, I can't really think of anything. I've tried cutting down on soda, but I don't know if I can really give that up for 40 days, I guess it's worth a try!

My MOH gives up chocolate every year, don't know how she does it, G*d bless her! One of my favorite memories with her is the year I gave up ice cream for Lent and the day after Easter her and I went to Friendly's and got 2 big chocolate sundaes!!

I just realized I can't give up pasta because I'm going to visit my MOH in Chicago this weekend and she's taking me to a great Italian restaurant. So instead, I'm giving up soda and chocolate.

i do the 'cop-out' - i commit myself to doing a good deed. which is pretty easy when you are executive level assistant - everyone is looking for a 'rush' on something, or a 'hush' on something else....so pretty much i feel i do 'good deeds' every day for someone in someway.

cause it is true - no matter what you give up - you suddenly crave like mad once lent starts!!

I dont know what Im giving up! My wedding is April 8th the day before palm Sunday, my HM is week of Easter! I dont want to break my sacrifice so I dont know what to give up.... Any suggestions?!?!?!?
