Does anyone know of a Catholic officiant who would be able to marry me in the chapel of my RH? We fell in love w/ the chapel and it saves us $$ on limos not to get married at the Church.

well there are many officiants who will marry you at the RH, now the only thing you need to be aware of is that it won't be recognized by the church, so if you're ok with that then i am sure the girls on this board can recommend one for you. ALot of times a retired priest will do this but again it still won't be recognized by the church.

In the US, Catholic priests are not allowed to officiate marriages outside of the Church. Other denominations will do it but not a Catholic priest.

yep, that's true. You must go to an 'official church' for the wedding to be recognized by the church. To boot, it has to be the one you of FH is a parishoner of, since most churches won't marry couples who aren't members of their church.
