omg that's so terrible!

that is exactly why the cardbox was right behind our sweetheart table over our shoulder---it was diagonal from my main immediate relatives table--and i let them know...DO NOT let anyone pick that box up at ANY POINT until the very end of the nite.

you should all make sure you give a heads up to some close family and friends to keep an eye out for the cardbox

My sister's gift was stolen from my cousin's wedding several years ago. I am so afraid of this happening to me. I think I am going to keep giving the gifts to someone and have someone put them in a locked area in the bridal suite or something!!!! I have one of those gift boxes, but it doesn't lock ... thinking about getting a lock for it or getting a new one. (too bad mine was a gift)

just a tip---do NOT and i mean DO NOT put anything in the bridal suite. yes halls tell you that the bridal suite is locked, but at every single wedding i've ever been to--at some point the suite is unlocked and ppl go in and out of there. a friend of mine's purse and wallet were stolen from a bridal suite and the staff basically told them 'we told you not to leave any valuables in the bridal suite'

i know several ppl who have had this happen to them...and i'm talking at some nice places!!!

never trust ANYTHING of value in the bridal suite

even at our wedding--the maitre d' told us before the reception 'this door is going to be locked, but PLEASE DO NOT leave anything of value in here' later i saw employees going in and out of the suite.

I did think of this ... I was planning on putting it in a locked suitcase or something, but I guess someone could just take the suitcase .... hmmm... I am paranoid about things being stolen! Maybe I will have FH keep all the cards in his tux inside pocket :) He will look like an idiot all night definitely.

I will have someone keep an eye on the card box ... we are not going to be at a sweetheart table but at a table with the BP and some close friends (small BP) so I can't really keep it with us, I guess I'll get a little table and keep it near the relatives' table.

I saw this on the news last night!!! SO HORRIBLE!!!
