Usually I just have the itchy eyes and throat, sniffles and a slight headache.
But this year, my itchy throat is making me cough and my throat feels absolutely raw. Plus I'm having a really hard time catching my breath.
I'm trying not to freak out because I had these same symptoms last year and it turned out to be a massive tumor on my chest, but the doctors have already assured me that it's 100% allergies and to take Clartin (which isn't working).

Re: Cause of death: allergies
if thats what they did last year id just be aggressive with getting my point across that i NEEDED a chest xray - even tho they said that it is DEFINATELY allergies - what is 30 seconds for them to write out an RX for you to just have a CXR done? Better to be safe than sorry - i pushed back in 09/05 for an MRI because i knew my problem wasnt going to be solved by just switching OCPs and we found my brain tumor (nothing serious serious) but just play it safe girl....

THANK YOU!!! I really thought it was just me....Usually it's just an annoyance that happens around mid-May for me but I'm totally wiped out. I hope I'm not going to be like this until the fall...

Wow..glad to hear the brain tumor wasn't anything serious!
I just finished all my chemo and radiation treatments three weeks ago, and with the way they blasted me, I can't imagine that anything could grow back there so fast. I did put in a call to the oncologist earlier this afternoon. If he doesn't get back to me today, I'll call back tomorrow.
