I'm so ... one of my BM's just called me crying.... She is in the BP of another friend of ours, and they went for their fittings this evening on the BM gowns... well, my BM happens to be larger in the hips & small in the waist, and it tugged a little here & was large a little there...

The bride turns around and says... 'Is it going to look like that?'..... My BM was appalled. Then the seamstress says 'No, I can take it in here, take it out here...' The bride turns around and says 'Is it going to look good?'

all this in front of my BM, not off to the side or anything like that - she embarrassed the he11 out of my friend, and has caused some severe animosity right now between the 2 of them.

so word to the wise ladies... just be careful when you are speaking around your girls.... remember they are your friends, and are helping to celebrate one of the most special days of our lives!!!!!!!

OMG it doesn't matter who you are speaking to - you shouldn't say that to ANYONE - that is so horrible - I'm sorry your friend went thru that - I hope the bride - has an absolutely perfect body?

People don't THINK before they SPEAK!! That was a very mean thing she said, If I was that girl I would call that bride up and tell her how uncomfortable I felt at the bridal place!

How rude !!! I would have told her to have a nice wedding and walked out. I coulkd never do anything like that. I have treated my girls with nothing but respect and sincere gratitude for being a part of this most precious day in my life.

what steams me most about this post is that it was the BRIDE not the BM who chose the BM dress! how dare the BM not fit into the dress the BRIDE chose! this bride needs to take a chill pill!

oh you ladies have no clue! the best part is is that her wedding is in one month & a couple of days & guess what! her dress still isn't here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
