cd favors

I know alot of us are doing the cd fvors but I am wondering how are you guys going to get it done. I know it is a grest idea I just never really thought about how I would get it done, am I going to go to someone and have it done or do it on a home pc? HELP!!!! It is going to be 12 of our favorite songs and a picture(hopefully of us) on the cd jacket.

i am also doing cd favors and you have to make up the one master copy cd and then burn them on your computer if you have a cd burner. then i bought this cdfavor program and i put a picture of the kim andersen little boy proposing to the little girl with our names and date on the inside on the label we have a copy of our picture on the cd itself and our names and date

We are almost done with ours and my advice to you is to start early! It is a lot of work. My FBIL is just starting out as a DJ on the side & he has some huge program where he has like 6,000 songs on his computer (some he downloaded for free before the whole crackdown & others are ones he just constantly burns & adds to his files). We told him which songs we wanted & he set up a file where he has only those songs stored. When my FI has time, he burns them here & there.

Then someone on here (don't remember who) recommended a website for the CD covers/song lists which we ended up downloading for like $9.95. We didn't want our mugs on the front so we just have our names & wedding date with a reddish background (our color scheme is cranberry). We wanted to keep things as simple as possible b/c we have to burn about 100 CD's. We have 21 songs on our CD. Then we plan on burning special CD's for the bp.

If I can get a digitial picture of what ours look like, I'll post it or you can FM me.

we burned them ourselves and used labels from my weddinglabels.com. They also sell velum envelopes so we put the cd in them and sealed them with a matching sticker that they sell also.

We just finished ours. We made the lables and covers with a program we bought. We used a picture of the boquet we are having for the flower girls on the outside cover and lable, and the songs and artists on the inside cover. We put ribbon around the CD case and a small daisy in the bow. I love them, but it was a lot of work!
