I can't post long- my boss is looking! I just read a few posts about people talking about Perez, and I used to love him, too! Him and TMZ- I would be on there all the time. Then Perez got really REALLY unnecessarily mean one day, and I boycotted, and the next thing I knew, because, of course, my boycott was short-lived, was that during my boycott, they firewalled him at my job. So then I moved totally onto TMZ, which is just BEYOND cruel. I HATE that site, but in spite of myself, go on every now and again.

FH & I watch TMZ every night. the funny part is that it was all FH's idea. he said he used to check their website once in a while then when he found out they had a show we started watching it.

Yeah, I've totally watched the show, too! And I just hate it so much- that Harvey Levin is just a horrible person. The thing that gets to me is all the old jokes. I never understood this- when they do the 'what do they look like now' thing? Or when anyone makes fun of people getting old, like when they rag on Madonna. Now, what is she guilty of, not dying before 40? Because if she did, she'd be Marilyn II in a few years. But she committed the cardinal sin for women (and select few men)- getting older.

The karma about this is that we all WANT to get older in some way (of course we all want to stay young forever, but since that's not possible, we all want to be around for grandkids and whatnot)- no one wants to die young, I don't think- so why do we rag on old people? Isn't that the same as making fun of someone for not dying?

That being said, every now and then, I just CANNOT resist. Because even tho they are the bottom-feeders of society, TMZ has become so powerful, that they are actually breaking news these days. And when the holy triumvirate were in their heyday, (Lindsay, Paris and Britney in the dark days (when she was maybe 7 lbs heavier, which was a national f'ing DISASTER)), I was all over that shizz.

Further on the Britney point- anyone else notice that everyone's all 'Britney's back', when in reality, all she did was lose a few pounds, and be forced to live in a police state? All America really needed this girl to do was lose a few pounds and get a decent weave, and all of a sudden, she's on the cover of Rolling Stone again? We are so messed up.
