Centereach Bridal Suite...BM DRESS HELP!! Need Advice

Okay...I bought my dress and all 5 of my BM dresses from Bridal Suite. I was just talking to somone who got married last month & she said they completely ruined her girls dresses. they had to go for 5 fittings & they still didn't come out right.
She said that her dress came out perfect & she gave me the ladies name who altered hers.

My dilema...The girls dresses are pretty expensive already..Do I have them shell out more $$ to take it somewhere else? Or do I try & request the head person to do the alterations? I'm soo scared that they will mess them up.

Has anyone else had good/bad experinces with this place & the BM dresses? If so, who did you use from there? I'm totally stressin out! please help!

I am in a wedding this August and we got our dresses there and the bride bought her dress there. so far we have had a very good experience. i have my first fitting July 15th for my dress. I don't know who there is doing my fitting. I will let you know how it went afterwards!

I say if they cn't get it rigth,,tht is the seamstress' problem, not the girls (unless they keep changing sizes). So they should not have to pay for more alterations. Speek to the head lady.

I have never been there, but I heard John was wonderful. I have heard nothing but good things about that store. Are you sure they did not mean Patchogue Bridal Suite?

I got my gown and bridesmaid gowns and my moms gown there. I had no problems with the alterations at all. I highly recommend the place. I dealt with Debbie. Who are you dealing with?

No, she def said it was Centereach. All I have heard is good things as well. That's why I bought them there. I'm dealing with Jackie. Well at least no one else is having problems. It was also during prom time (not an excuse) maybe they were short handed or something.

Okay...i'm starting to feel better.

ya know the person who does my hair actually told me about a girl that got her dress there and they screwed up the alterations too. She told me that the girl was HORRIBLE to the Bridal Suite before anything was done to the dress so maybe she deserved it BUT I dont know the full details so Im not going to pass judgement. I got my dress from there too so Im getting kinda nervous about hearing another person having problems!!!

Hopefully my dress will fit perfect and I wont need any alterations.

I ordered my dress and my girls dresses there. I have had no problems so far. Jackie is wonderful!

I ordered my dress from there also. I got my BM dresses somewhere else. I haven't had my alterations yet, but now I'm nervous!
Who did your friend use for her alterations so I know to ask for her.

I have no experience with Centereach Bridal Suite, but I suggest you talk to the owner provately and tell her or him your concerns. Maybe there is someone else on staff who can do alterations?

I ordered my wedding gown there and all of the BM dresses- so far no there have been no problems with the alterations. My second fitting is next week- I will post if there are any issues.

PS- I agree that Jackie is awesome!

OMG!!! I am going to need blood pressure medication soon...I ordered my dress from their and my 1st fitting is 7/28....now I am scared!

Im in a wedding today, and got my dress altered there. I had to go for 3 fittings
They ordered me the wrong size. They ordered me a size 16, and Im a size 8. They still made me pay the cap on the alteration fees $65. I gave them HELL, because they ordered me the wrong size.
