So I am using low centerpieces that it provided by the hall's florist. It will look something like this only all roses and ivory. I was going to get votives and put them around it to dress it up a little more. My mother thinks it will just get lost in the centerpiece.
I am not sure what you mean by 'lost in the centerpiece' But I think the votive would look very pretty around the flowers.

Re: Centerpiece?
I love votives so my answer is yes, you should do it. Sometimes the RH will provide them and if not, they are very cheap at AC Moore.

Re: Centerpiece?
They definitely won't get lost...the votives will be a nice enhancement to the centerpiece. Go with it!

Re: Centerpiece?
I think you need the votives to give it a little extra something...I've seen it done with and without and the candles make it look just a little nicer and more rich
