Centerpiece Color ??
For our eparty I want something festive rather than flowers and candles. So we thought of doing balloon centerpieces. We want to have 6 balloons but can't decide on color combos. Our favors are frames with pink roses on them. But the border of the frame is ecru. We are also adding into the bag of the favor our std magnet, which I would like to match our color for the wedding: red. Any suggestions?

Re: Centerpiece Color ??
Whats wrong with red, pink and ecru (beigey color) right? They are in the same family

Re: Centerpiece Color ??
I would stick with ecru balloons and maybe pink candles on the bottom

I forgot to add that I would like to use burgundy. I have burgundy tulle I will use for the balloon weights and also for making bows. With that I see ecru, burgundy and... that is where I get stuck!

Re: Centerpiece Color ??
Why do you need another color? I think burgundy and ecru are fine.
I wouldn't have burgundy, pink and ecru balloons. JMO

Re: Centerpiece Color ??
I agree with October, You can use ecru as the base color and either color as the accent. Too much loses itself

Re: Centerpiece Color ??
Since we are having 6 balloons per arrangement, we thought to add a third color. I guess it does seem like too much color going on...

Re: Centerpiece Color ??
nah, burgundy and ecru is good enough
Candles are a good idea too! Beige or cream color with Burgundy ribbon tied around to decorate.
I think those colors will look pretty! They actually my bridal party colors! Well Wine and Champagne are... I guess that's why I'm pushing just those too! Sorry.
I hope I helped a little atleast.

OctBride: Which is a deeper color: wine or burgundy?Just wondering...
Thanks ladies for helping me narrow this down. Ecru and burgundy it is!
I am going to place candles by the bar, our table, the buffet table, the placecard table (also roses floating in brandy glasses). Will the heat from the candles cause a problem to the balloons?
