Centerpiece Help!! Ladies, work your magic!!

Centerpiece Help!! Ladies, work your magic!!

After being in contact with my RH, I have found out I can't do the centerpieces I wanted to do (ivory pillar candles of different sizes on a mirrored plate) because we can't have an open flame. FH doesn't like the cylinder vases that we could put them in instead.

Looking for a centerpiece idea that isn't flowers and doesn't have an open flame. It's a very early March wedding. We were thinking of maybe a candy centerpiece, but I'd want to make sure it looks elegant instead of trashy/cheese.

Ideas....AAAAND GO!!

ok so i know you said you dont want flowers but I saw these amazing centerpieces at a wedding that was done by a bride and it was cylinders filled with colored water, rocks, and floating silk orchid petals..just a thought..ive even seen them where a color light is dropped into the water..have you thought of maybe putting a monogram in the cylinder and maybe rocks, gems, or candy in them?

could you do floating candles in a cylinder? or is that still against the open flame thing? if you can, maybe do that and fill the water with clear stones and put those vases on the mirrors..

We are trying to find our own non-floral centerpieces as well.
Our theme is kind of rustic so we tried this out, its a wood slab with our initials burned in with mason jar candles and a mason jar photo frame.

Here's inspiration of a candy idea:

Or you can take apothecary jars and just fill them with various vase fillers (this is fromsave-on-crafts.com):

Check out etsy, they have some pretty dried flower arrangements:

I know you said no flowers but i saw a CP where the bride DIY it and she but a rose buds in chandeliers. Just one on the tip of each arm. It was very simple and elegant.

These are all great, ladies!!

We can do candles as long as they're in glass containers. I actually just contacted a 2011 bride about purchasing her votives and votive holders that are hot pink. We'd like to do something to go with those. Maybe stacking the favors in an interesting way? We don't really have a theme, but the colors are pink/ivory/dark purple.
