As I mentioned before I am NOT creative. But I have two ideas about centerpieces that I want opinions on. Since I want low centerpieces, I was thinking of having roses placed in silver watering can vases, or silver mint julep cups. What do you think? I was browsing on wedthings.com and Martha Stewart and I liked the idea.

I love the mint julep cups, make sure that you put a few, since they are small. Put an odd number, not an even number (for some reason odd numbers look asthetically better). Sprinkle petals on the table of what ever color flowers you have in the cups. Maybe you could even put tapered candles between the cups to bring in some height (in silver holders?) Can you visualize it? I think it will be beautiful.
FYI- make sure you shop around for those mint julep cups- the prices differ dramatically. They will be cheaper on a non-wedding related site.
