oooh! I love this game! :)

do you have a theme or color scheme at all?? Which month? I chose green because when I think of march, I think of green. I will use pale yellow to soften it and avoid throwing a st. Patty's day wedding :).

Haha..yes! I'm trying to think of color schemes..I think that is my biggest issue right now.

I have the bridesmaid dress color down..it's cobalt blue. I love green/blue/purple... so i was thinking of doing an assortment of flowers in those colors...even yellow would work.

I'm getting married outside in a garden-type set up (hopefully if it doesn't rain) and the wedding is at the end of April. I like vibrant colors...so maybe even gerber daisies? I dunno!

I wanted a centerpiece that someone could take home, perhaps floral (but not real flowers)....something they can use in their homes, etc...

are you having a daytime or a night time wedding?

Night time. Ceremony starts 6:30 ..Reception 7-midnight (that's why i thought the vibrant colors would show up nicely in the room at night) ...there are windows on one whole wall of the reception room, so it won't be real bright. I'm open to any suggestions! thanks

I love Rosalind_75's centerpieces. So simple and elegant.

Maybe do something similar with cobalt blue votive glass holders, surrounding the water pillars, and if you like green and purple do what Rosalind_75 did but with green and purple orchids inside the water and floating candles on top? Maybe some petals or flowers on the table too?

I'm thinking of diy'ing my centerpieces too! I just can't fathom paying thousands of dollars on something that will die within the next few days. I'm confused about that entire thing and the logistics of setting it all up. argh. Will think of flowers vs. candles vs. something else later on :)

Good luck! Hope you post what you end up doing :)

Oh the teacups and flowers on top of the pretty books are awesome!

If you're doing cobalt blue get some nice english garden flowers to match? Maybe in those blue and white tea cups/ ceramic type things. very cute

OMG, I think cobalt blue and yellow would look PHENOMENAL together.

You could do a sunflower theme with cobalt blue accents.

If you like edible centerpieces, you could do a cupcake stand with decorated cupcakes in your color scheme or even cake centerpieces.

If you don't like that, you could do hurricane glasses with colored sand, marbles or lights with candles set in them.\

You could do tea lights with colored rose petals on the table or floating candles.

Also, some people like to do candy bars for the table if they have vibrant colors.

Here are some pics:

I kind of went a little crazy with the blue and yellow theme, but when I re-read your post, your blue, purple, green and yellow comment instantly reminded me of Mardi Gras. I think it depends on how eccentric you are , but it could TOTALLY be done.
