Centerpiece Ideas?

Is it possible to make pretty centerpieces for $500 or less for 10 tables? I like this:

I would put an orange pillar candle (having fall theme wedding). I was thinking of wrapping the candle in a twig like twine and throwing leaves in there to add something (unless something else would make it pop more????)

Then I would put mini pumpkins (found a wholesale site) on the table with fake leaves. Is that too little?

then again, I'm liking this too:

with some orange candles, still with pumpkins (I'm liking pumpkins and candles btw!).

Which do you like? And if you have other ideas with links or pictures, that would be great! I really don't want floral CPs because it costs a lot and then they die, I want something that will last, you know??

I like both ideas but I would avoid orange candles at all costs! Maybe a nice amber color but not orange. With the black stand it will look like Halloween. Fall has so many other nice colors like soft yellow, brown, green, gold etc... This is just my opinion. I really like the second centerpiece idea because it's tall.

Thanks... my wedding colors are purple and orange, the girls dresses will be purple and their flowers are orange, at first it didn't sound nice, but I looked into pictures and it looks great. Still shopping around, trying to be cost affective! Thanks!

I just found these pics online...you mentioned you liked pumpkins. The like the iron pumpkin idea..and you can fill it with a pillar candle... even just ivory colored and fill it in a little more than this picture with the twigs, flowers, leaves ......

I don't love the other one I posted w/ the pumpkins and twigs but you could do a cylinder like this w/ pumpkins...and less twigs and maybe some fake purple mums or other flowers ?!

I love fall and I think your idea is definitely achievable. I found some ideas...

The shape of the pillar holder reminds me of a pumpkin and I think the leaves and tealights around it look pretty.

You could also combine the pumpkins and the candles and make mini pumpkins tea light holders.
