So a few days ago I showed my mom a picture of a centerpiece with grapes and roses on a 4 tiered serving tray. I posted it here too just to get opinions on fruit in centerpieces. Yesterday my mom saw the 4-tiered trays on sale in Macy's for 50% off of $40, an additional 15% off and then I think an additional 10% off. They came to $9 each. So mom called me and asked if I thought I might want to use them. She bought 14 of them. What do you ladies think?

I am still a little worried you can't see the other people across - did you sit at a table with one in front of you? Otherwise, I ABSOLUTELY AM CRAZY ABOUT THEM and I think they are very, very elegant. $9!!!

I love the idea! Very unique! But hydrangeas are very full and you might end up blocking the view of the people across the table and you don't want people to grab them and put them on the floor. Test it out with different flowers since you have the stand already and see what works the best! Great idea!!
One more thing - you need some sort of water source or the flowers will wilt before the reception even starts. Maybe those test tube things they put on roses before the ship them that have water in them? I think foam with water would rust the trays and look bad.

I think they are fabulous! Very unique but still classy looking! I love creme colored roses (vendela are my favorite) and I love grapes! The colors go so well together. I'ts perfect.

In regards to it being too big or tall, all of the pieces can come apart and we can make it 2-3-or 4 tiers. We took off the bottom tier and screwed the base back on and it looks great.

What an amazing idea! I absolutely love that centerpiece!!! You have to go with that centerpiece and do not worry about being different...that's what makes that centerpiece so awesome. LOVE THE IDEA!!

Last night we took them apart and tried them in different combinations and it looks nice with three tiers and maybe we will make our parents' tables have 4 to distinguish them or maybe we will have a 4 tier on the placecard table. I have options.
It feels good that everyone likes them I don't know why I have been feeling the need for constant approval lately

I am using a dessert two tier glass plate for my centerpieces. I think its a great idea because your guests can take it home and it serves a purpose. Your guests will love them!

I think the 3 and 4 tiers will both be very nice. It was a good idea to start trying out the designs now to get a better picture in you mind.
They are very elegant. Congrats on the great price!!!

Yes! Do it! I love the picture of the flowers/grapes. Very elegant! What a great deal you got. I love Macy's - they have the best sales sometimes.
