Okay, so I went to go see a sample of my centerpiece. What do you think? I dont like the fact that is so much green. They are $150 a piece and while it does have orchards, which are expensive, I feel I should have less green and more flowers for that price. Please help!
I definatly agree you want the color of the flower to be more dominant. I would expain that to your florist and see what they can do to make the change.

There is allot of filler in the centerpiece. Perhaps they can replace some of the filler withflowers taht are not as expensive as orchids?

I happen to think they're very beautiful, but if you want more flowers, you should get them for $150 a piece.

its pretty but IMO there is a little too much green..
sorry just realized the green i was looking at were the calla stems!!! maybe they can make those shorter and they can still do the drooping effect but not as much as is there... so you see more white and less green... and those flowers are beautiful with or without fillers so they can even go less on the fillers... think they are hiding the others...

When I asked her she said that for $150 with orchards that's what I get. But I am definitely going to make her put more flowers in there because this is not a cheap centerpiece. (and I have 30 tables!) I love hydrangea which is a flower that takes up space but is pretty cheap but I don't think it would go. My problem is finding another flower that will match.

I would hope that your florist would be more open to hearing your opinions..are they letting you come up with more ideas and showing you another sample at least??
Just to give you an idea of what orchids look like with other flowers...
(roses with dendrobium orchids and cymbidium orchids)
(Purple and white Dendrobium Orchid accented with purple double Listianthus, Lavender Freesia, White Alstroemeria ans Star of Bethlehem.)

I agree...too much green. Once u take some of the greenery out and add more flowers...it'll be gorgeous!
