I am looking for ideas on centerpieces. Flower centerpieces are expensive and I am looking for alternatives. Any suggestion (pics)?

A friend of mine bought cheaper wine racks, decorated them herself and put bottles of wine in them

pillar candles, hurricanes, rose petals. You don't have to do the typical c-piece. I feel the same way about flowers, they are so expensive. I am doing candles and rose petals...

we are doing the floating glass bowl with the beads you put at the bottom and 3 floating Gerber Daisy heads in the water....it's very elegant and simple. We are putting that on top of a octagon shaped mirror and FH wants to scatter petals around that on the table and the hall provides votives
**ETS the bowl is $7.99, I saw it on sale at Michael's for $5.99 one week, the mirror was $4.99 I think, the beads were on sale for $.99 a bag, but I did see them at $.88 a bag one week
