Centerpieces?
If you girls don't mind - we were trying to get an idea of what the average floral centerpice costs for each table. I would love to have an idea so I know if the florist we are talking to is in the average price range. Thanks!

I paid $85 for low revere bowls with 3 different kinds of red roses, red tulips, amaranthus and a little heather. No filler.

I was quoted 100 each for 30' high pedestals with votive candles going up a spiral, topped with a large arrangement of hydrangea, roses, cala lillies, and various other spring flowers.

Re: Centerpieces?
I am paying $150 for tell centerpieces, but I am not sure that you really can go by this... Think about what the markup is on flowers. At least 80%!! I would not just walk in and tell florist- I want to spend somewhere in this price range. He'll give you what he wants to give you for that amount. I would show a pic of what you like or describe your dream centerpiece. Let him quote you a price and then negotiate with him. Tell him you showed four other florists the quote and it was lower. He wants your business! The market is not that great.
