Heres ours. they were supposed to have orchids in the vases but clearly the florist decided to change it up on his own. I absolutely loved the top though.

Ok, you have to decide 2 things - what shape & what height. Then, tell the florist your colors & ask what is in season. If you're concerned about $$ - clusters of hydraingeas are colorful, full in shape & not that expensive. We're doing square vases of solid yellow roses - some times flowers that are all one color look more rich in photographs than mixing different colors.
You could also forgo flowers all together. I went to a wedding where the center pieces were hurricane lanterns filled with sand & different height white candles.
Be creative & good luck!!!!

Re: Centerpieces

I don't have any pictures, but we are doing (2) 5 inch mirrors with a floating candle in the middle and it will be connected by the florist with flowers. The mirrors have lace w pearl trim that we glued on and will have rocks on them with a small candle that matches the BM dresses (we had them custom made) and the candles will have a ribbon around them that says 'our wedding day' and a bow. The florist is also laying rose petals on there.
They are not finished yet so I can't even take any pictures.
