Centerpieces

Should you match your centerpiece flowers to your bouquet flowers? Im having my BMs have just gerbera daisy bouquets and mine is going to be a mix of gerberas, roses and im not sure what else yet......but i saw a centerpiece i really liked that are tulips......i dont even know if they are in season in the fall!!!

So, my question is again, do you have to match your centerpiece flowers to the bouquets?

Mine sort of are. But as for tulips I think they are only a Spring flower and they are very delicate

I don't think so....who in the world is going to remember what the BM bouquets look like? Too many girls on this site are SO obsessed with everything matching, it drives me nuts!

Go with what you love! My bouquet is stephanotis and phelonopsis orchids and my centerpieces are roses, hydrangeas, and some other flowers (I forget exactly which, but I think French stock, maybe?)

I had the same concerns but after thinking it over I decided it didn't matter. My bouquet will be eggplant call lillies, the girls will have ivory or white ones.
The centerpieces are most likely going to be a mix of purple and white roses with some hydrangeas for filler.

I really don't think anyone will compare the flowers if everything is the same color scheme,

What about candles? Anyone doing maybe floating candle centerpieces? I saw a pic and i liked it too!! So many ideas i like!! Also, with the candles, do you think they would be ok for a night wedding? One of my coworkers doesn't think they would be good for a night wedding.

I don't know what to do.....thank god i have time to think about it!!

nope not matching!
all of the bok's are roses and my CP's are orchids and black curly willow branches!

idk mine kinda do

my bouquet is ALL red roses

my BM are having gerber daisies

my CP are small red tea roses with hydrangea in white ( at the mouth of a large vase ( plus greenery)
and in the vase free floating in water is one red gerber daisy

but ive been to weddings where it didnt match the ceremony flowers at all

i'm not matching. my BM bouquets will be purples, dusty rose and greens. my CP is all white (and green i guess technically) - calla lilies and orchids.

mine arent the same... the table arrangements are very neutral and their bouquets are not hahaha

my boks are all callas, ivory,purple and green, my centerieces are orchids with a hint of purple in the middle.

i don't think they have to. My bouquet is picasso callas (the calla lillies with the purple inside) and they aren't in my CPs at all.

i dont think they have too.. but if you are using the girls bo-k's on your and FH's table then you may want to incorporate the colors or something.

I am probably going to use all the same colors, with different flowers, excluding my bo-k which i want to be completely different. I have 9 BMs and we are going to use their bo-k's on our table after the walk in i think.
