Re: Centerpieces without flowers
I haven't taken pictures yet of the stuff that I made--but we're doing different centerpieces on each table. Like 4 tables will have birdhouses (because I bought more of them haha), 2 other tables will have birdcages with fresh flowers inside (but you can do tea candles, or silk flowers), 2 tables will have a watering can with flowers inside, etc. I wanted something different and it fits our theme very well, I think.

Re: Centerpieces without flowers
I plan on doing something similar to the picture (but without the shade thing on top) with votives on either side.
I actually plan on doing this too.. i want something like this but i am getting a long vase instead of the iron stand, and also getting branches instead of the crystal branches (they are to much money) and just getting hanging crystals and hanging flowers.
I haven't taking any pictures yet bc I am waiting for all the pieces to arrive. I am doing 3 different size cylinder vases on each table filled w/silver and black Xmas balls, then coming out of the top is going to be silver and black sprays (that way the center pieces are flat looking) I am spreading red rose petals all around the base of the vases and will have ivory votive candles spread through out as well. I am also having a black top lining on top of the ivory one so that the red from the rose petals pops. When I do get everything and make one I will take pics and post them.

I hope they look they way I am envisioning them to look! Otherwise I am in serious trouble and will be left with 600 Xmas balls!!

Are you doing a wine theme by chance? I'm only asking b/c my centerpiece is a wine bottle w/ flowers surrounding it, and the table number coming out of the top.. but when I was researching ideas with wine bottles, I found a few without flowers. I just googled images of wine bottle centerpieces and a ton came up. Just wanted to share Good luck!
Trying to attach an idea, but no luck sorry!

Re: Centerpieces without flowers
I am using candelabras that I got from Curiously Creative Candles. We are actually having candles in them and red flower petals on the tables. Lets see if posting the pic will work. White candles of course

for some reason it doesn't want to let me get it in here.... gonna try to put them in an album i guess....
Edit: My album for tables has both my centerpieces for majority of the tables and then the head table centerpiece. For some reason everything gets turned when I upload them. Sorry

Thank you!!!! We are gonna spread some red rose petals on the tables, and having black table clothes with the white under it. Those candelabras cost us $10 each and the head table is $20!!! Granted that was cause we bought in bulk, but still!!!! Can't beat those prices and how rustic they look

Re: Centerpieces without flowers
Someone posted this picture on here once before and I LOVED it, so this is what we are doing! Everything from Ikea - Lantern & piller candle, and then 2 small tea light cancles on the side. Also going to scatter the table with rose petals. Total cost is less than $20 a table.. SO much cheaper than anything else I could find and I love it! win!
Does CCC have a website that shows their inventory or did you visit them? I really want to use candles as my centerpieces but then someone told me it could cost even more than flowers. You pricing would save a WHOLE bunch of money for our budget!!

Re: Centerpieces without flowers
I visited. It is a little hole in the wall place on Long Island Ave right by Tanger in Deer Park. I agree sometimes it CAN be more expensive, but done right, you save a LOT! And if you tell them what you are looking for, I am sure they can come up with something
