Ceremony

We are not having a mass, just a wedding ceremony. Does anyone know if I NEED the singer. I know it is $100 extra but I'm not quite sure when she will sing during the ceremony if it's not a mass. Has anyone had JUST the ceremony that can help me? PS..it is in a church. Thanks

I'm in the same boat, so Id like to know too. I am meeting with the church next week so if no one knows on here, Ill find out then and let you know!

Im also having a ceremony instead of a mass, and one of my bridesmaids want to see, she is good. Anyway, she told me she sang when you and ur FH are lighting the Unity Candle, but ask the priest just to make sure

We had a ceremony only. My mothers' cousin was going to sing for us, but had a family emergency (his wife went into labor) and was not able to. It was lovely just the same. He woulds have sung Ave Maria during the entrance and and that would have been it. So I dont think it's essential. IMO
