Ceremony - any new/special traditions you are incorporating

Most of the big items for our wedding are settled so we are starting to get into all of the details. I'm wondering if anyone is incorporating any special family traditions into their ceremony or starting any new traditions?

We are starting a new family tradition. My parents bought FH and I a family bible that we will by tying our wedding rings to for our ring bearer to carry down the aisle. I plan to hire a calligrapher to write our names and wedding date inside the bible.

What are everyone else's plans?

I love that idea of the family bible !!! So cute!

Our ring bearer will be 20 months at the wedding so I doubt we would do that.
Not sure about ceremony traditions yet!

We're incorporating a Filipino wedding ceremony. It involves a veil, candles, cord, and coins. The coins are suppose to symbolize wealth, and the sharing of wealth between the couple. Its blessed and given to the couple by the priest. It looks like this:

We'll have a coin barer walk alongside our ring barer. The veil is wrapped around the couple and the cord is used to tie them. It has to be tied in a certain way which symbolizes tying the couple together for infinity.

We’re doing the Coin ceremony after our ring exchange and then the Veil/Cord Ceremony.
