How do you know what your ceremony consists of? Or how do you know what to put in your program? what readings there are etc...

Re: ceremony at church
I believe there is a booklet you get from your priest or it is given to you at pre-cana. I looked online for the general templates and I will adjust once we get to review with our priest.
I posted a thread about it a few hours ago.

this. The book has all the readings you can choose from in it. For a Ceremony (not a full mass) you will still need:
First Reading Responsorial Psalm Second Reading Gospel
I want to say you will also need the Prayer of the Faithful but I am not sure if they include in just a ceremony only. If you are doing a full mass then it's definitely included.

Definitely speak with your priest. I spoke with mine and told him I needed a sample to go by since I am doing my own programs and he gave me one. He told FH and I to pick the readings that we like most, and everything else I will just follow as he has written. So I would suggest it's probably best if you confirm everything with your Priest

Re: ceremony at church
This question is so funny because I just emailed my church on Friday because I wanted to start with programs.
They are going to send me a sample of how the ceremony is going to be. I'm not gettting married in a Catholic church so I didn't get a booklet or anything.
