we paid $400 to use their chappel and we 'rented' the ceremony flowers for $350 - which is a GREAT deal considering the amount of flowers they provided!

we paid $425 for the officiant.

Wow - We're getting KILLED at a grand! Holy Sht!

They call it a 'Hospitality' though - they give us an hour, greet all the guests, serve small snacks and drinks and that sort of thing.... I guess it is what it is.

i hate when they call it something fancy to jack up the price. our ceremony time is about 45 minutes. but they will also have an 'early arrivals' lounge for people who come before the ceremony has started....and there will be coffee, tea, danishes, etc. there. (our ceremony starts at 11 a.m.)...and that's all included in our price. i think they did hurt you a little in the 'hospitality' charge!

we have Capitale for the entire day, so we aren't paying any extra to use it for our ceremony - we are just paying an officiant.

A friend just got married at the Vanderbilt - it's a grand.... period. They don't really play around too much with the $, but once you're in they are unbelievably accomodating and won't find reasons to say no or come back at you for additional $... I suppose I know why now...

$550 for the ceremony - $750 if we want them to include the flowers. No fee for officiant. We are getting married by a judge.
