Ceremony at Town hall

Ceremony at Town hall

Quick question for a friend....She's doing civil ceremony at townhall for personal reasons so basically they can be legally bound on paper as husband and wife first and plan the wedding. Her real wedding and 'Ceremony' would be early 2008. Does she need to have the wedding bands for exchange during civil ceremony at the townhall or that's not neccessary?

Thanks!!

the rings aren't necessary....only thing you need for a civil ceremony are witnesses and the couple!

Thanks!!! I'll let her know!

PS...I didn't think the ring would be neccessary either...but she kept on insisting that it is.....hmmm..maybe she wants to take this opportunity to get another bling!!
