Ceremony at Venue

Hey Ladies,

Who is doing there ceremony at the venue? Are you doing first look photos before hand or are you missing part of your cocktail hour to take pics with your FH and family? Or do you have completely different plan?

Im trying to plan the day and figure out how that would work and I would love to know what other brides are doing.

Ceremony at Venue

I am having my ceremony at the venue. We are planning on doing all of the family photos before the cocktail hour so we can enjoy the food and mingle with all the guests so we won't have to greet every table during the reception.

Ceremony at Venue

We are having our ceremony at the venue and we will be doing a reveal before the ceremony. I am paying way too much money to miss my CH!! haha. not only that, its almost more special to do the reveal beforehand bc its just the two of you in that special moment, without 100+ eyes on you =)

Ceremony at Venue

So before reading this, my plan was to spend the two hours before the ceremony for me and FH to take pictures with our perspective families and bridesmaids and groomsmen, then take our pictures together during cocktail hour. Our CH said that all of the cocktail hour food will be in our bridal suite as well. But now I'm wondering if I should go back to doing a reveal. I'm having a night time ceremony so if we take our pictures during cocktail, which will be from about 8:45pm to 10pm, it'll be dark outside. But if we do a reveal before, the sun will still be out. I'll definitely have to talk to the photographer and see what they say.
