Hi, is anyone considering or had a live instrumental group play music for the ceremony and then jazz for cocktail -- do u think its worth it? its going to cost about $1200 for an hour.

I have a 13 piece band for the reception. They are providing me with a piano player for 1/2 hour before ceremony, keyboard and flute for ceremony and jazz trio for cocktail hour. It is all included in my price.
If you hire a band, they can supply you with what you want.

we are having a harpist during the cocktail hour. I don't know the price - it's a gift from my brother.

we are going to hire a calypso/reggae band for our cocktail hour... not sure on the prices yet though... i think it's a nice touch!
