Has anyone had their friend or relative (someone who is not a minister everyday) perform your ceremony?And if so, how did you work out the ceremony? Did you research from a specific book? MY FFIL will be performing the ceremony ( he was ordained online thru First Nation Ministry) and he told us that we have to figure out what we want to do for the ceremony so I need to write out what everyone will be saying, etc. I need help!!!

My dad's friend married us and sent us pretty much a layout and we changed it around. This is long but here is what we came up with...
Lay Out of Ceremony
1. Cannon in D starts to play a. Grandparents Enter b. Groom’s Parents Enter c. Bridesmaids Enter i. Marie ii. Danielle iii. Katherine iv. Laura v. Lisa d. Maid/Matron of Honor Enter i. Nicky (wait until Lisa is ALL the way down the aisle and then go) ii. Diane (wait until Nicky is ALL the way down the aisle and then go) e. Ring Bearer Enters f. Flower Girl Enters 2. Time to Say Goodbye/Con Te Partiro - Bocelli/Brightman start to play a. Bride Enters with Father b. Mother meets bride and father where seating starts c. Father Kisses Bride and removes blusher d. Bride’s Parents take a seat 3. Music Stops 4. “It’s a Great Day for America Everybody!” 5. “and it’s a great day……to create a new family.” 6. POEM 7. Story of Darby & Jane/Henry Woodfall 8.
