See I am a little confused with all this ceremony music.

There is music playing while the guests are sitting, then a different song for the BP and parents, etc. and a totally different song for me and my dad??? Than another to walk out to???

So 4 songs total or am I crazy? I want to do the total traditional church songs. What are they?

Well to clarify I origionally intended the song to be the one you made your entrance to....

but usually there is soft music playing as people come into church, then a song for the BP, then your song.

So which ones are you thinking about as you walk down the aisle?

I think we're gonna go with From this moment or At Last. And then i want the traditional 'here come's the bride'

for the recessional it's def. 'All you need is love'

and if i could have it just like in 'Love Actually' that would be spectacular

Re: Ceremony Entrance Song/ Hymn

Did you know that you can have a song created just for your wedding entrance/ processional? Its called commissioning original music. A friend of mine did it and it was so cool. She talked to the composer and told him where her wedding was, what the theme was, and they discussed what style of music she might like. (She said there were ways to get super-fancy with it, like putting in bits of her favorite songs, which she didn't do).

Her composer gave her the sheet music for the instruments she chose - she wanted a string quartet. She also got a CD of the music and a framed copy of the score for her wall.

She found this composer by googling 'wedding compositions'. Its definitely something to consider when you want the BEST for your wedding.

Good luck with the hard wedding decisions!
