So I am getting married next January but we will not be getting married at the venue. Neither of us are very religious, or affiliated with a church so that option is out as well. Does anyone have any ideas of a neutral place where we can actually get married? We loved the aboretum but it will be closed in the winter. There is really no place particular that will be meaningful to us either.
PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you in advance for all ideas

I loved the conservatory at dowling but when i contacted them, they said they only rent out the ballroom. Have not heard anything back from Planting fields aboretum either.
Have to keep looking I guess.

I had the same problem, we are having our ceremony at the unitarian chapel in manhasset, there are pics in my album
there is also a unitarian chapel in huntington, which is a little closer to st james

Please call and ask, because im not 100% sure and I don't have the paper work, but I think it was about $900.
We looked at hotels too, and that was definitely the cheaper options, some hotels wanted over 3,000 just for an hour!!!
